Privacy policy
Last updated 27 August 2026
This covers lighterwork.com, including the audit pages and the booking form. LighterWork is operated by Rahim Bakhtiiarov. Questions, or a request to see or delete your data, go to rahim@lighterwork.com.
What we collect
- What you type. Your email address at the start of an audit, your answers to the audit questions, and your name and email if you use the booking form.
- How you got here. The campaign parameters on the link you
arrived through (including advertising click identifiers such as Meta's
fbclid), the page that referred you, and your browser's user agent. - What you did on the page. Which pages you viewed, which buttons you clicked, how far you scrolled, and how far through the audit you got. Our analytics provider also records a replay of the session; form fields are masked, so what you type into them is not captured in the replay.
We do not ask for payment details, and we do not collect special categories of personal data.
Why
To produce the audit you asked for and send it to you, to arrange a call if you request one, to understand which parts of the site work and which do not, and to measure whether our advertising is worth what it costs.
Who it is shared with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the service providers who run parts of this site on our behalf:
- Supabase — the database holding your answers and contact details (hosted in the EU).
- PostHog — product analytics and session replay.
- Meta — we run a Meta advertising pixel on this site, which tells Meta when a visitor completes a step such as starting the audit. Under California law this kind of advertising data sharing can count as “sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising”. To opt out, see below.
- Calendly — booking, when you choose a time for a call.
- Senja — the testimonial widget on the home page.
- Hostinger — hosting.
Cookies and similar technology
The site stores a small amount of data in your browser: your progress through the audit, so closing the tab does not lose your answers, and how you arrived, for up to 30 days. PostHog and the Meta pixel set their own cookies.
Your choices
- Opting out of advertising and analytics. If your browser sends a “Global Privacy Control” signal, we do not load PostHog or the Meta pixel at all — nothing is shared with either. Any standard tracker blocker has the same effect. We still record which pages and steps were used, on our own servers, without cookies and without sharing it. The audit and the booking form keep working normally either way.
- Access and deletion. Email rahim@lighterwork.com and we will show you what we hold or delete it. We do not charge for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.
- Meta's own controls are in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
How long we keep it
Audit answers and contact details are kept for two years from your last contact with us, then deleted. Analytics data follows our provider's own retention period.
Children
This is a business-to-business site and is not directed to anyone under 18.
